About this excursion
This day tour goes to the south coast of Crete. After the morning pickup from selected hotels and bus stops, the bus drives south through villages and mountains to Damnoni Beach.
At Damnoni you get on a boat for the short trip to Preveli Palm Beach, where a river runs through a palm forest into the Libyan Sea. You have free time there to swim, relax and walk along the beach.
The boat takes you back to Damnoni, where you have free time for lunch at a local tavern or a rest by the sea. On the way to Rethymno we make a short stop at Kourtaliotiko Gorge for photos.
The last stop is Rethymno. You have free time to walk around the old town and its narrow streets, see the old port or sit down for a coffee.
At the end of the day the bus takes everyone back to their pickup areas. The return time depends on traffic and on where guests are dropped off.
