The Lassithi Plateau is one of the most scenic inland areas of Crete, and according to mythology it is where Zeus was born. The first stop is the small Vidiani Monastery. At Lasinthos Eco Park you can see traditional crafts and farm life, and Krasi Village has natural springs and an ancient plane tree. The day ends with a guided visit to an Olive Oil Mill Farm, where you can try local products and have lunch if you wish (optional). It is a good choice if you want to see inland Crete, away from the coast.
