About this excursion
Morning pickup: we start collecting guests from the pickup points in the morning. How long the drive takes depends on where you are staying.
1st stop: Toplou Monastery (40 minutes) About 40 minutes at the historic Monastery of Toplou, with a guided tour and some free time to take photos of the building and the landscape around it.
Bus drive to Vai Beach: 20 minutes
2nd stop: Vai Beach (2 hours 30 minutes) Vai has the largest natural palm forest in Europe. You have 2.5 hours of free time to swim, sunbathe, have lunch and take photos.
Bus drive to Sitia: 30 minutes
3rd stop: Sitia (1 hour 20 minutes) Free time to explore the town at your own pace. You can walk along the seafront road, have a coffee at one of the traditional cafes or try the local sweets.
After Sitia we board the buses and drive back to the hotels where we picked you up.
*The return journey time depends on traffic and your pickup point.
